Our Vision


The Teaching and Learning Development Office (TLDO) is committed to spearheading teaching excellence at Hong Kong Shue Yan University. Our mission revolves around catalysing innovation and collaboration in the university community to advance teaching and learning.



One of the main objectives of the TLDO is aiding faculty members to explore and implement cutting-edge educational technology tools and strategies that align with their pedagogical objectives. By offering training workshops and personalized consultations, we provide guidance and resources, ensuring teachers possess the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively integrate educational technology and best practices into their teaching practices.




Moreover, we are dedicated to cultivating evidence-based approaches that amplify students’ learning outcomes. Through our close collaboration with teaching staff and students across departments, we strive to foster an inclusive community that thrives on interdisciplinary learning.
