Internship programmes play a pivotal role in tertiary education, not only for students in vocational, technical, and professional disciplines, but across a wide range of academic fields in universities worldwide. These experiences serve as a critical bridge between classroom-based theoretical learning and its practical application in real-world settings.
This session will showcase experiences from students, employers, and our internship partners who have participated in our university’s local and overseas internship programmes. The Industrial Attachment Office (IAO) will also introduce new initiatives that aim to further enhance the value of internship opportunities for students and faculty alike, fostering deeper engagement with industry and better preparing graduates for the workforce.
